When cutting a circuit-pole that is between two circuit-elements that are connected via that pole, a replacement connection is created directly between those two items to maintain the circuit topology. (I think that's trying to be helpful / intended behaviour?)
When pasting that same power-pole within range of those same components, though, the original connections are restored - and the ones created by the cut aren't removed.
This results in tons of confusing/extra connections when working with circuits in close proximity, and trying to use power-pole-segregated "wire busses" to make sense of non-intersecting red/green subnetworks.
