[Solved] Crash within 30 seconds of start

Post by Artifex »

Hi,
I get a crash within 30 seconds of starting the game. Usually just enough time to disable tips and cut down a tree or two. I have reinstalled twice, restarted and reinstalled my most recent video drivers.
Does anyone know a fix for this situation?
Thanks!

You probably have something that uses RivaTuner Statistics Server (for example MSI Afterburner, EVGA PrecisionX or other HW monitoring software). Older version of this software breaks DirectX 9 on Windows 10. Disable it or update it to current version to fix the crashes.
