Saved Game Problems

I have most of the achievements and when my wife played the game on my computer with her steam account she gained some of my achievements.we are not sure how this happened.

That's by design: when you load a save the game has no way of knowing if that's your normal save or if you got it from someplace else.

It's a design flaw then. The game should track how long each person is in the game, and only give achievements if they have played the majority of the time.
