What did you do?
Placed a turret on a island using drones.
What happened?
Some aliens set up shop next to it and got very confused when something started shooting at them. They are completely frozen and do not react to me walking near them or even touching them. If I shoot them they wake up though.
What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
Would expect them to ignore the turret if they couldn't reach it.
Write down the steps to reproduce the bug if you know them.
Load the attached save.
Alternatively set up a turret in a similar situation and wait for some alien to wander into range.
Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
I've gotten aggro by killing the worms that were there, then running into range of the turret and waiting a couple of seconds, then running away and killing the ones that followed me. The ones that went for the turret went back to the brain-dead state. I assume you could trigger it the same way for any group of aliens.

Re: [14.22] Path finding/general ai bug
Thats weird. In normal scenarios the worms at least are aware of me. But this is just wierd.
Re: [14.22] Path finding/general ai bug
This is a current limit of the path finding system for biters. They were never setup to handle attacking things on islands and unless we make that part of the base game we probably won't look into "fixing" this behavior.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
