When I drop items on a belt (that is not fully compressed), sometimes they push items further away. But also they push items further away, that have space between them.

1. Load the save.
2. Drop something on the bottom lane.
3. Look on the iron further away, it will move when It doesn't need to, and keep dropping.
4. Items that are far away will be pushed even If the items that dropped has space to get in.
What did I expect to happen?
That dropping the item will not push items that are far away, and maybe compress the belt?
