Re: Installing mods

Yes, but you can still get to it on mac with the same file path. Just right click on factorio in finder, click show package contents, then the data file is contents/data.
Hope this helps.

Installing mods

I found a great and simple guide on installing mods on the wiki, but it's a little hard to find. So here it is:

Custom map file path

Hello, I am trying to find my custom map, but i don't know where. So far all I've done is Factorio/show package contents. I'm running Mac OSX v. 10.9.2.

Thanks.

Tight fit bug

When loading tight fit in factorio 0.9.3 it gives me an error. I'm no programmer , but I could tell that it was because it tried to put a pump in the market, when the item is now called offshore pump.

Thank you.

Re: Bring on the 3rd Dimension! Aka World Layers

The underground dimension sounds great, goes right along with underground ores. I could easily see a map with underground access ports, underground belt connectors, and underground pine connectors. :D The sky dimension sounds bad tho, I really don't think the game needs it. :|

Re: Some thoughts,

These ideas are great, and I would to see them added. Smart transport belts sound interesting and I've been wanting machines that could clear forests. :)

Underground belt/pipe research

I think that there should be research to up the max distance of underground belts, it can be a little annoying when it can't go any further.

Re: 0.7.5 & 0.8.8 mac game crash.

I have the same issue on Mac "Mavericks". Demo works fine but Alpha is Death... Exactly the same thing here. So I found a workaround to this on my own now that I have an idea what the problem is. Simply download the demo and enable the following: options -> graphics -> low graphics settin...

Yay, Multiplayer! But the next version is 0.10? Does that mean you've added time machines? ;)

Extra campaigns

So I was thinking about getting the furnace attendant package, but I was wondering how the challenge maps will be available when the full game comes out, or comes out on steam. Will everyone get them? Will I have to buy them again? I would to figure this out so I can get this awesome game. :D Thanks...
