Compared to on Switch 1, Factorio runs significantly better on Switch 2.

Oh cool so the same as Switch 1 in docked mode I can use my Logitech unifying receiver to connect both my Logitech mouse and keyboard on one USB port.

I run Factorio on a 24 inch screen while docked. The screen is not that small when compared to Factorio on the Steam deck.

Just curious to know if anyone tried Factorio on there new Switch 2 yet.

Internal mouse feature would be fun , especially for table top mode with the bigger screen.

Factorio will be great for the bigger screen and the mouse controls of the new Switch 2. I can't wait to see it in action with a cool update.

I will be looking into bringing both base-game and Space Age to Nintendo Switch 2. For base game I will try to make sure it takes advantage of the better hardware in backward compatibility mode, if possible.

I noticed when opening my blueprint files a series of letters and numbers I guess this translates into the book when you import string.

Does the computer make the number/letter jumble or is this done by hand?

I hope that Switch 2 will either be patched for a new Factorio version or work with the current version as is though I expect more updates before June anyway for Factorio.

Just found out from a source at Nintendo

The Switch 2 joycons will support "mouse mode" where it has a sensor in the middle of both joycons that can turn either one or both into a mouse with the triggers being the left and right click for the mouse mode.
