I want to use other mods for researching robots and logistic/trash slots... but with this there are conflicts. This mod does too much with no easy way to disable things.
I'd love if this mod was just a simple "BigBags" mod like the mod title implies. Simply increase to inventory, bigger stacks, an optional toobelt research, optional long reach research, etc. I feel like the other stuff should be in a different mod, and it won't work well with 0.15's infinite research anyway.

Hey,
Love the mod.
However how do i revert changes on researches that i have already done?
I've research bigger inventory but i want to revert the latest upgrade from it. I tried editing the data file, but to no success. So is there a way i can revert researches i have already completed? Or is there another workaround?

This is a great mod. I love the toolbar with 4 rows. More inventory space etc.
Im also thankful for the option to disable changes stack sizes.
Can you correct this mod for 0.15?

Just a note that the logistic/trash slots were increased by +1 per row, so your mod should probably do the same. Right now it's uneven on the character inventory. The mod also seems to be altering vanilla recipes, I noticed logistic slot research 1-6 were not the same (much cheaper and didn't require the new science packs), didn't check all recipes but might want to rebalance the research around the new packs.
I also wouldn't mind a config entry that allows you to change the reach gained per research if you ever get a chance and it's easy to add.

Here's some more:
- Worker robot speed is no longer needed, and worker robot speed infinite research isn't accessible when the mod is installed.
- Worker robot speed 6 only requires 3 sciences pack when it requires 5 in vanilla.
- Worker robot cargo size 4-8 needs production and high tech science packs added.
That's the last of the bugs I am seeing. Thanks for the quick updates.

That sucks man, 0.15 added so much and it's really a game changer. Everything looks good now. My game still says the mod is "editing" character logistic slots 5/6 in some way, but I'm not sure what it's doing (Says base > BigBags) might cause a problem again if the developers ever change these again. One further thing I would suggest is adding the new packs to certain recipes for better "progression curve".binbinhfr wrote:love this game, but not much time to spend...

- Pickstick is adding two + reach distances per level, for example rank 5 alone gives a massive 120 range increase. I guess this is why I thought the range was a bit too extreme, with the new map feature I can basically edit outposts from my main base.

to clean up, you should try :
- uninstall mod.
- run your map, save it without my mod installed, to erase any bad memorised infos
- reinstall mod
- reopen your map
(but you will lose mod's research)
I changed recipes
I guess I won't change pigstick reach distance : it has always been like this and that's what user's wanted.

Any way to disable, al together, the Toolbelt research?
I find it super useless.
The problem is that any other window, once i have done all research, overlaps the toolbar completely.
the GUI isn't very flexible when it comes to mods that adds extra nonsense.
So, any way to disable/rip out the toolbelt research???
Auto research mods has a tendency to ALSO research the living crap out of toolbelt, even when told not to...
Everything else in the mod is pretty great!

I do not really undertand : if you don't want the toolbelt extra, just do not research it...

The mod "Auto Research" automatically research the toolbelt, regardless of my settings, and since i hate the extra toolbars i NEVER use, i'd like a way to disable the toolbelt researches.binbinhfr wrote:I do not really undertand : if you don't want the toolbelt extra, just do not research it...
OR even better, make toolbelt research require obscene amounts of Space-science packs.
The Auto Research mod does not have a "Ban" or "disable" button for certain research, which i personally think is an oversight.
The best way to circomvent that mod is if i could mod the toolbelt out OR in a better way, make the research require 90k Space-Science packs...
That way, the Auto Research mod won't research the toolbelt until i actually DO have the Space-Science packs, even even then, only once other such researches gets close to the need of 90k Space-Science packs.
Hope i make more sense now...
Looking through the files with notepad++, i found only one place that might be the place where it calculates what the toolbelt requires for research.
But i am in NO WAY sure.
In "Data.lua" at line 101 to 112 is my guess on which research it requires. but again, i'm not certain.

Sorry, I won't change the cost of toolbelt, which is a research that old users like.
The problem is this auto-research mod. It should provide a way to search only the techs you want.
