Mark drop location for inserter on belt

TL;DR
Mark drop location for inserter on belt
What?

Why?
It prevents confusion, primarily when belt goes away/towards an inserter.
To prove my point, I noticed that my paint art has the location wrong, should've been right instead.

Feature exists: the default is the "far center" of the tile, as shown by the Yellow Triangle in your screenshot.

This can be changed using a mod like Bob's Adjustable Inserters or Smart Inserters. In the screenshot below, the Right Inserter is configured to the "Near Center" Offset as shown in the Dialog, while the Left Inserter is set to the "Middle Center" (which actually drops on the Far lane of the Belt).

That's not exactly what I meant: I would love to have the white square show where my items would land as a QOL.

For example, when a inserter drops into a belt that moves away, it drops right. If the belt moves under the inserter (and it drops into the tunnel piece), it drops left. Just knowing that when placing the inserter would be handy without going with mods.

No, the Inserter "drops" it into the Far-Center of the belt - that is why the Triangle is positioned as it is, no Mods required.. If you enable Debug option "show-transport-lines" and use Editor Mode to Pause/Tick through the animation frame-by-frame you can see that the Iron Plate is in the Middle of the Far belt lane. It is not until the Belt moves (on the next Tick) that the item is moved Downstream.

The mods linked allow you to change the position of the Yellow Triangle.

You surely are correct, but it doesn't help me as a user to know where the item will come in the following situation:

That's why I suggested it. Maybe I could've used a better example as explained in my OP.
