TL;DR
Mark drop location for inserter on beltWhat?
Why?
It prevents confusion, primarily when belt goes away/towards an inserter. To prove my point, I noticed that my paint art has the location wrong, should've been right instead.

No, the Inserter "drops" it into the Far-Center of the belt - that is why the Triangle is positioned as it is, no Mods required.. If you enable Debug option "show-transport-lines" and use Editor Mode to Pause/Tick through the animation frame-by-frame you can see that the Iron Plate is in the Middle of the Far belt lane. It is not until the Belt moves (on the next Tick) that the item is moved Downstream.Anymn wrote: Fri Jan 16, 2026 6:10 pmFor example, when a inserter drops into a belt that moves away, it drops right. If the belt moves under the inserter (and it drops into the tunnel piece), it drops left.
