[2.0.72] Inconsisent show-clock behavior

Post by dje4321 »

Enabling "show-clock" in the debug settings to show the current time has inconsistent behavior between OS's. Discovered as im central US timezone playing on a private server based in the UK on various machines.

Local Time: 12:00 UTC
Server Time: 12:00 UTC+6

Windows displays 12:00 UTC
Linux displays 6:00 UTC
Nintendo Switch: Unable to test
Mac OSX: Unable to test

Expected behavior:
All OS's should have the same behavior and most players would assume that show-clock reflects local time, not server time

Thanks for the report however this is not a bug. The time shows the local system time always formatting according to how the system says it should be formatted using https://en.cppreference.com/w/cpp/chron ... ltime.html.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
